What are your qualifications?

Our psychologists have doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology and are registered with the Ordre des Psychologues du Quebec, as well as the College of Alberta Psychologists in some cases.

How long are sessions and how much do they cost?

Sessions are 50 minutes and cost $220.

Are sessions covered by insurance?

Receipts are provided for you to submit to your private insurance provider. Sessions are not covered by RAMQ.

What methods of payment do you offer?

Sessions are payable via Interac e-transfer.

Are sessions in-person or virtual?

Sessions are being held virtually and in-person, with masks, due to COVID-19. Impulse Psychology’s offices are located in downtown Montreal.

What is your cancellation policy?

Sessions must be cancelled with 24-hour notice or the full fee will be charged.

How many sessions do I need to see results?

There is no one-size-fits-all answer to the necessary number of sessions. Therapy with Impulse Psychology is change-oriented, which means that improvements in functioning and quality of life are usually seen within 6-12 sessions.
